Pensioner held down by burglars

A burglar has held down an 82-year-old woman while another man ransacked her house in south Belfast.

The men forced their way into her home in the Annadale area at about 1930 GMT on Monday.

They made off with a substantial amount of money. The pensioner escaped injury but was said to be badly shaken by her ordeal.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
