A fire has broken out at a 17th Century mansion near Hampton Court Palace in south-west London. | |
The fire broke out at David Garrick Mansion on Hampton Court Road, at the junction with Thames Street, at about 1129 BST. No injuries were reported. | |
London Fire Brigade sent 10 fire engines to the scene. Witnesses said work was taking place at the mansion at the time of the blaze. | |
Transport for London has put bus diversions in place around the fire. | |
The building's roof is entirely alight and half of its second floor is on fire, a fire brigade spokeswoman said. | |
All occupants of the building have been evacuated. | |
London Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and a fast response car to the scene, but no patients have been treated. | |
