A 14-year-old boy died after being hit by two vehicles - including a police car that was on its way to help him. | |
Police were called when Sean Henderson and a friend were seen on the remote B817 Shore Road between Invergordon and Alness on Thursday evening. | |
Mr Henderson, from Westford, was later struck by a car, then hit by a police car going in the opposite direction. | |

A police spokesman said: "Police were requested to attend at Shore Road, Invergordon, following reports from members of the public expressing concern for the safety of two youths who were walking at that location. | |
"A police vehicle did attend, however, tragically at this time an oncoming vehicle has collided with one of the youths who has thereafter come into contact with the attending police vehicle." |
