Version 0 of 1.

A County Tyrone engineering company has said it may have to make job cuts because of a reduced number of orders in line with the economic downturn.

Powerscreen, which is based in Dungannon, employs about 650 people.

It said its workforce was being consulted and projects which were being outsourced were being brought in-house to maintain jobs.

The company said it would also extend its winter shutdown.

Powerscreen specialises in machinery used in the construction, mining and recycling industries.
