Jobs at risk at bottling company

Up to 30 jobs are at risk at a soft drinks bottling company in Ballymena.

Norbev said that as a "result of the current economic climate and a slowdown in orders" they were having to consider a redundancy programme.

Operating since 1919 the firm makes bottles for a wide range of brands including Lucozade and Coca Cola.

Management at Norbev have entered discussions with employee representatives aimed at "securing as many jobs of possible".
