An enormous explosion near Bologna Airport in Italy was caused by an accident on the highway, according to the police. At least 20 people have been injured following an enormous explosion on a highway in Bologna, Italy, according to local broadcaster Rai News.

The cause of the accident on the highway is not yet known. The cause of the accident has yet to be confirmed however Italian news service Ansa is reporting the blast happened after a truck carrying flammable liquids was involved in a crash with other vehicles.
