A man has died in hospital after being rescued by firefighters from a fire at a house in Lancashire. A man has died in hospital after being rescued by firefighters from a blaze at a house in Lancashire.
Fire crews were called to the large semi-detached house on Hornby Road, Blackpool, early on Saturday morning. George Michael Cronfield, of Doncaster, was looking after the semi-detached property on Hornby Road, Blackpool, when the fire broke out.
Firefighters using breathing apparatus broke into the property and found the man on the floor of a bedroom. He was found on the floor of a bedroom by fire crews after they broke into the house early on Saturday morning.

Mr Cronfield, who was in his 60s, was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but died shortly afterwards.
Police said he had been visiting the resort from South Yorkshire to look after the large property.
A spokeswoman said the scene was now being examined for clues about what started the blaze.
