A man is in a critical condition after a car exiting a carpark collided with him on an access ramp. Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a man was critically hurt by a car exiting a car park ramp.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said that the incident happened on a ramp in the rear lane of St David's House in Wood Street which is next to the Millennium Plaza where Bar Risa is housed. A spokesman said on Sunday the roads policing unit were particularly interested to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the injured person lying on the ramp at about this time.

The man is being treated at the University Hospital Wales in Cardiff where his condition is described as critical.
