The street has been cordoned off and detectives and scenes-of-crime officers are at the scene. Detectives have been examining the home of the woman, described as "quiet and inoffensive" by neighbours, and the street has been cordoned off.
A police spokesperson said they were investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses. Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen her between last Thursday and Monday to contact them.
