An aircraft has landed safely at Belfast International Airport after emergency services were put on standby as it made its approach.

Fire and ambulance crews were alerted after reports of a problem with a Jet2 flight travelling to Belfast from Murcia in the South of Spain.

The aircraft landed safely and the emergency services were later stood down.

The incident occurred shortly before 1400 BST.
