Teen arrested over death of man

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a 27-year-old man who was allegedly assaulted at a Glasgow flat.

Victim George Niven Brown was seriously injured in the alleged attack at a flat on Ashgill Road at about 1915 BST on Saturday night.

He was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary, where he died a short time after admission.

An 18-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

A Strathclyde Police spokesperson said: "Relatives are aware and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
