Two injured on fatal road stretch

Two cars were involved in the collision on the B4560 near Ebbw Vale in Blaenau Gwent, which partly blocked the road. The injured people have been taken to Nevill Hall hospital, Abergavenny, and are said to be in a serious condition. In November, Louise Jones, Kayleigh Parry, both 16, and 15-year-olds Katie Roberts and Danielle Caswell died in a crash on the same road. Police, fire crews and an air ambulance were called to the scene of the crash on Friday afternoon, which happened between Llangynidr and the A465 Heads of the Valleys road. The four girls killed in last month's crash were close friends One person was left trapped in their car by the incident. In last month's crash, the four girls - pupils at Glyncoed Comprehensive School were killed when the car they were back-seat passengers in crashed.
