There is no progress on a possible meeting between the Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, acting presidential aide Yury Ushakov said on Friday. Preparations for the possible meeting stopped at a stage of an agreement to organize such a meeting that was reached in a telephone conversation between the two leaders on March 20, TASS quoted Ushakov as saying. The US side said then that a contact between the two presidents “was possible,” he noted. Ushakov refused to comment on Putin’s possible meeting with North Korea’s leader Kim Jon-un. No progress has been made on a possible meeting between the Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, acting presidential aide Yury Ushakov said on Friday. “This matter stopped at a point that was reached in Trump’s telephone conversation with our leader on March 20, when the American side said a contact between the two presidents was possible,” TASS quoted Ushakov as saying.
