Version 0 of 1.

Police investigating a triple shooting in Glasgow have issued descriptions of the gunmen and their car.

Michael Lyons, 21, died after the attack at Applerow Motors MOT Station on Balmore Road in the Lambhill area of the city on Wednesday.

Two other men - Stephen Lyons, 26, and Robert Pickett, 41 - remain seriously ill following the shooting.

Detectives said the car used by the gunmen may have been a "distinctive" blue Subaru Impreza four-door saloon.

Prove vital

The car was seen parked near the garage just before the shooting at about 1415 GMT.

It is believed that two men, wearing calf-length quilted-style coats, walked from the car to the garage, carried out the shooting then returned to the vehicle.

Det Supt Campbell Corrigan, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "This car may prove vital to our enquiries and I need people to come forward who may have seen this car.

"Did anyone see it in the days leading up to the shooting? Was it parked near your home? Have you seen it since Wednesday?"

Det Supt Corrigan urged anyone with information to contact the Incident Room on 0141 532 3786.
