A fire has broken out at a factory containing hazardous chemicals in Antrim. More than 50 people have been moved from their homes in Antrim after a major fire broke out at a factory containing hazardous chemicals.
People in the area around the Greystone Road have been advised to keep their windows closed and remain inside. Nine fire trucks and three specialist appliances were sent to tackle the blaze at the Camden Group's glazing factory at Greystone Road.
Nine fire trucks and three specialist appliances, were sent to tackle the blaze at the glazing factory on Monday afternoon. Firefighters used extension ladders to get at the blaze from above, while part of the building has been destroyed.
Local residents have been advised to close their windows and stay indoors.
Firefighters remain at the scene of the blaze, which could be seen from as far as 10 miles away.
