Man is assaulted by gang at house

A 55-year-old man is receiving treatment in hospital after being attacked by a gang of men in south Belfast.

He suffered serious injuries to the head and body during the attack at a house in Coolfin Street.

He was set up by a group of four masked men just before 2330 BST on Saturday.

Detectives at Musgrave Street are investigating the assault and have appealed for any witnesses to the assault to come forward.
