The police have come under attack in north Belfast.

Two petrol bombs were thrown at officers during disturbances in Cranbrook Gardens in Ardoyne.

A police car was scorch damaged during the trouble on Wednesday evening.

The police say the situation has been calmed and they are maintaining a presence in the area.
