Voters in Enniskillen are preparing to go to the polls in a council by-election.

The contest follows the death of the DUP's Joe Dodds - father of the party's deputy leader Nigel.

There are six candidates and about 12,000 people are eligible to vote in the by-election.

Polls in the County Fermanagh town opened at 0700 BST and will close at 2200 BST. The results will be announced on Thursday.
