Two hurt in armed raid on store

Two men have been injured during an armed robbery at a Tesco supermarket in Hertfordshire.

Raiders struck at the store in London Road, Tring, at about 0730 BST, a police spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman was unable to confirm whether any shots were fired or where the men were injured.

The victims were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury. It is not known if they are suffering from gunshot wounds.

The supermarket is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Tring, close to the main A41.
