Version 0 of 1.

Police in Norfolk called to investigate reported sightings of bodies found scarecrows lying at the side of a road.

Officers were called by motorists using the A47 Dereham bypass who reported seeing the "bodies".

They turned out to be scarecrows built as part of a community project in the village of Yaxham, near East Dereham.

They had been stolen from front gardens in the village and then dumped along the A47 between Dereham and Honingham.
