He said: "They seemed a quietish family. I only knew them to say hello to, to pass the time of day." | |
When he returned home from work he saw number of people outside the house, he said. | |
He said: "There were a couple of strangers - I think they were police officers - walking up and down with mobiles. | |
"I took no notice and went to bed and woke up at lunchtime and saw police cars outside the house and could see that something was going on." | |
He added: "This is an exceptionally quiet area." |
