Two nurses were threatened in a Birmingham hospital ward by a man who was thought to be armed with a gun. | |
The man is believed to have been be a patient on the general ward at Birmingham City Hospital. | |
He demanded drugs during the incident on Wednesday evening, a spokesman for the hospital said. No staff or patients were injured. | |
Armed police attended and a Taser stun gun was used to arrest a man. The arrested man in now in custody. | |
