Man stable after street shooting

A teenager is in a stable condition in hospital after being shot in the leg in west Belfast.

The 18-year-old was walking along the Falls Road at about midnight when he was approached and punched in the face by two men.

They pushed him to the ground and one of the men shot him in the leg.

The males ran down an alleyway into Willowbank Park. The police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
