In a statement New Charter Housing Trust Group said that the man they were trying to evict when the attack happened had run up rent arrears of more than £2,300. | |
The organisation also revealed that when two New Charter staff went to the aid of the injured PCSO, the man returned and threw two pans of hot water over them. |
