A 24-year-old man has been stabbed to death. A man stabbed to death at a Dudley flat has been named as Jaskaran Kang.
He was pronounced dead at a flat in Stourbridge Road, Dudley, after police were called at about 02:30 GMT on Saturday morning. The "hard-working father" was pronounced dead at a flat in Stourbridge Road, after police were called at 02:30 GMT on Saturday.
Lead investigator Det Insp Justin Spanner, of West Midlands Police, said a murder investigation had been launched. The family of Mr Kang, 24, from Handsworth, Birmingham, are appealing for people to come forward.
In a statement released by West Midlands Police, they said: "We just want justice."
They added: "He was a lovely and caring hard-working father, son and brother who has been taken too soon.
"Everyone loved him and the family and community are in shock."
The force said a post-mortem examination is due to take place later.
