Three arrests over town assault

Three men have been arrested by police investigating an assault in Coleraine at the weekend.

A 29-year-old man remains in a critical condition in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital following the incident.

He was injured at Bannfield Road in the County Londonderry town at about 0230 BST on Sunday.

A fourth man arrested over the assault has been released without charge, the police have said.
