Man sought over armed robberies

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to trace in connection with two armed robberies in Glasgow.

The first robbery took place at a shop in the city's Partick area at about 1510 BST on 8 August.

The second incident in a bookmakers, also in Partick, took place at about 1610 BST on 19 August.

The man is described as white, about 6ft tall and of slim to medium build with dark-brown hair. He spoke with a Glasgow accent.

Anyone with information relating to either incident, or anyone who recognises the person in the image, is asked to contact the police.
