Re “A. G. Sulzberger Will Become Publisher of The Times on Jan. 1” (front page, Dec. 15):

As publisher, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. led The New York Times during 25 of the most turbulent economic years in publishing history. His record: 60 Pulitzers, a new digital vision for the future, national and global expansion, and an unshakable commitment to excellence in journalism.

Well done, Arthur!
