Two held in terror raids released

The two men were detained as police searched three houses in the Cheetham Hill area on 2 September. A third man who was arrested under anti-terror legislation in Cheetham Hill on August 23 remains in custody. Greater Manchester Police said inquiries into the incident, which is not linked to recent raids in London and south east England, are continuing. A spokesman said: "This is an ongoing investigation and detectives are continuing to review a significant amount of material that has been recovered." |
