A 16-year-old boy who fell to his death from a block of flats in east London may have been chased, police have said. A teenager may have been chased before falling to his death from a block of flats in east London, police have said.

Mr Brown said: "We expected today to be about GCSE results and what you then find is one of the youngsters who has worked very hard for their GCSEs has been the victim of this tragedy, so people are very shocked and upset."
Police presence
Emergency services were called at about 1600 BST to reports a boy had fallen from a balcony.

Emergency services were called to the scene where they found the victim shortly after 1600 BST. Forensic experts have been examining the scene where there has been a strong police presence.
The spokesman said: "We believe we know the identity of the deceased, but await formal identification and confirmation that all next of kin have been informed." Floral tributes were left outside the entrance to the flats by a group of youngsters on Thursday morning.
The victim's next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to be held later. No arrests have been made.
