Richard Hill grabbed a try on his return from a serious knee injury as defending champions Wasps tumbled out of the EDF Energy Cup. Hill's try early in the second half capped a superb Saracens fightback after Wasps dominated the first half with tries from Tom Voyce and Joe Ward. But efforts from Ben Russell and Hill turned the game Saracens' way. While Wasps' Dave Walder struggled with the boot, his opposite number Thomas Castaignede kicked 16 points.

Saracens' backs coach Richard Graham
"Overall it was an outstanding team performance and it was good to see Hilly back after injury. "There were some fantastic individual performances from some of the young guys and they have really given us something to think about for selection next week. "We controlled the ball a lot better in the second half and it was a much better display."
Wasps' director of rugby Ian McGeechan on his inexperienced team:
"In rugby terms I was pleased with the youngsters. They were not intimidated at all. "They were good on the ball and they manufactured all three tries so in that respect it is very encouraging. "I gave a lot of lads a week off after the internationals but everybody will be back next week."
Saracens: De Vedia, Vaikona, Penney, Powell, Haughton, Castaignede, Dickens, Lloyd, Cairns, Mercey, Ryder, Fullarton, Russell, Hill, Gustard.Replacements: Byrne, Visagie, Chesney, Audley, Rauluni, Harris, Cato.
