A homeless 64-year-old street singer has been given an anti-social behaviour order after playing loud music and becoming aggressive in East Yorkshire.

Magistrates in Beverley heard John Bernard Martindale toured many towns and villages in the area singing with the aid of a portable stereo.

But after complaints about his behaviour, he was banned from playing his music in public for five years.

He was also barred from drinking alcohol on the streets.
