An announcement is expected on Monday on the upgrading of the A26 between Ballymena and Ballymoney in County Antrim.

Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy is to pick one of five options for the upgrade.

It is expected the famous Frosses Road, known for its tall pine tress, will be included in the scheme.

Over 18,000 vehicles travel on the A26 each day.
