The 36-year-old was arrested in Donegal town on Tuesday. He was later taken to hospital in Sligo but was discharged on Thursday night. Stephen Cahoon, 36, of Harvey Street in Derry, appeared at a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court in County Leitrim.
