A man arrested over the killing of Londonderry woman Jean Quigley has appeared in court charged with her murder. | |
Stephen Cahoon, 36, of Harvey Street in Derry, appeared at a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court in County Leitrim. | |
He was remanded in custody until 15 August. | |
Ms Quigley, who was 30, was beaten to death at her Cornshell Fields home on 26 July. | |
Mr Cahoon was arrested in Donegal town on Tuesday. He was later taken to hospital in Sligo but was discharged on Thursday night. | |
Ms Quigley, a mother-of-four, was two months pregnant when she was killed. |
