Trump is preparing to shift regulation of gun sales to the Commerce Department from the U.S. State Department, U.S. News and World reported Tuesday. The move is expected to cut the red tape and slash regulatory costs, resulting in a boon for the gun industry. Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. (RGR) shares jumped 13.6%, Vista Outdoor Inc.
