Bystander killed in pub shooting

Carl Gbedmah, 47, was hit in the head by a stray bullet as he stood outside the Live and Let Live pub in Romford Road, Forest Gate, on 1 August. Police said the shooting happened when two groups of males clashed in nearby Sprowston Road. Mr Gbedmah was found by officers called to reports of a disturbance and the sound of gunfire at about 0345 BST. He was taken to hospital where he later died. |
