Speaking three weeks after the fire which killed his wife, and now his granddaughter, jeweller Mumtaz Chishty, 71, said: "We need to know who this was and why they did it.
"I have no grudge with anyone. I just want justice for my wife and family."
Mr Chishty said his wife saved his life after she heard the fire alarm go off.
He was held back by neighbours as he tried to return to the burning house to save her.
Detective Chief Inspector Jeff McMahon said: "This fire has absolutely devastated this family who have now not only lost their mother and grandmother, but their little girl too.
"We still believe there are people out there who are talking to each other about what happened, but not talking to us.
"I urge you to imagine how Alana's mum and dad must be feeling and consider whether what you know could help them get justice for their little girl."
