A man who died after a large-scale street fight in the east end of Glasgow has been named as Charles Bowman.

The 32-year-old, from Cambuslang, was one of five men taken to hospital after the disturbance in the Carmyle area of the city.

Up to 15 youths are thought to have been involved in the fight, some of whom had knives.

Police confirmed that they were treating Mr Bowman's death as murder and appealed for witnesses.
