Two men have died after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a car in Cornwall. A motorcyclist and a car driver who died in a head-on collision in Cornwall have been named.
Three air ambulances and a police helicopter were called to the crash on the A38 near Saltash on Thursday. Motorcyclist John Prizeman, 29, from Saltash, collided with a car driven by Donald Prouse, 58, from Liskeard.
The car driver died at the scene. The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Air ambulances and a police helicopter were called to the crash on the A38 at Stoketon Cross near Saltash.
The motorcyclist's pillion passenger, a 29-year-old man, is in a serious condition in hospital. The A38 was closed for 10 hours. Mr Prouse died at the scene of Thursday's crash and Mr Prizeman was pronounced dead in hospital. A pillion passenger, 29, is serious in hospital.

The road was reopened at 2330 BST, police said.
Inspector Martin Taylor said: "This is one of the most serious types of collision we investigate, two people have lost their lives.
"It is really critical that we find out what happened, for the sake of the coroner and also for their families too.
"We only get one chance at the scene and we make the best of it."
