Thousands of people are attending the Glasgow River Festival which has got under way with a programme of events on land and water. | |
New to this year's festival is sea scooter racing and Glasgow's first beach volleyball tournament. | |
However, one of the races had to be stopped after Amy boats taking people on pleasure cruises strayed onto the course. | |
Other attractions include a schooner and two Royal Navy minesweepers. | |
A floating fishery museum and numerous stalls were also attracting the crowds. | |
Last year, the Clyde festival attracted more than 85,000 visitors. |
