Cannabis resin estimated to be worth as much as £1m has been seized by police in County Antrim.

Police said the discovery was made during a routine patrol near Larne docks at about 0235 BST on Friday.

The drugs were found inside a lorry stopped by police on the Harbour Highway. One man has been arrested.

Chief Inspector Ryan Henderson praised the "swift actions" of his officers for ensuring "these harmful drugs will not be on the streets of Northern Ireland".
