Woman is assaulted in city centre

A woman in her late 20s has been the victim of a serious sexual assault in Armagh city centre.

The woman was walking in the Dobbin Street area at about 0030 BST on Tuesday when she was approached by two men who attacked her.

Police have appealed for anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.

A spokesperson said witnesses can contact police on 0845 6008000, or they can phone Crimestoppers confidentially.
