Dr Eileen Duke will launch her Scottish Green Party campaign SNP candidate, John Mason, called for urgent action from the UK Government to tackle fuel poverty.
SNP candidate John Mason will be turning his attention to domestic energy issues when he meets a local pensioner. "We have already seen gas and electricity price increases of some 15% this year, with forecasts of further rises of as much as 40% to come," he said.

The pair will turn their attention to the potential of the 2014 Commonwealth Games to redevelop the area. "We're not talking now about people not buying luxuries, we're talking about people reigning in and trying to buy essentials," she said.
"I think the Conservative proposal of taking 5p off a litre of fuel would immediately help people."

Davena Rankin is fighting the seat for the Tories. She will be joined by former Conservative leader Mr Duncan Smith at the Greater Easterhouse Alcohol Awareness Project, as they focus on the problems caused by alcohol abuse. Mr Scott and Lib Dem candidate, Ian Robertson, were given a tour of the National Swimming Centre in Tollcross, the venue that will host the swimming events during the 2014 Commonwealth games.
Mr Robertson said that while the investment was "welcome" a more "permanent revolution of regeneration" was needed in Glasgow East.
"If we invest in local activity centres, youth clubs, after-school groups and sports teams we can keep young people healthy and safe," he said.
"We can also offer hope to those children from the east end who can strive to compete for Scotland at our east end games."
