The festival has a mix of the well known and unconventionalSuch a burden does have its compensations, though. And there were plenty of Scottish acts. Biffy Clyro, Texas front woman-turned solo artist Sharleen Spiteri all wooed the crowds. The fans were certainly not left disappointed - and one of the main questions on their lips was - would controversial singer Amy Winehouse, who pulled out of T in the Park last year, turn up on the back of her well-received performance at Glastonbury?
