A police officer has been injured during a riot in the New Lodge area of north Belfast. Four police officers were taken to hospital on Friday night following rioting in Portadown.
About 50 people threw petrol bombs, stones and other missiles at police in the early hours of Saturday morning. Two people were arrested. In all, 13 police officers were injured when paint, petrol bombs, stones and fireworks were thrown in the Obin Street area.
In Belfast a police officer was injured during a riot in the New Lodge area.

Two people were also arrested following the disturbance in Portadown.
One man, who is 26, has been charged with assaulting a police officer, riotous behaviour and resisting arrest. The other man is still in police custody.
