Three in, one evicted at BB house Three more on BB as Jennifer goes
(1 day later)
Three females have become the latest contestants to have entered the Big Brother house. Three women have become the latest contestants to join Big Brother, while part-time model Jennifer Clark was evicted from Channel 4's reality show.
The newcomers are a "sexy executive PA", a theatre director and mother of two in her 40s and a model who has appeared in a Lynx advert. Among the newcomers was Sara, a 27-year-old from London who is described as a "sexy executive PA".
Earlier, part-time model Jennifer Clark became the third person to be voted out as Rex Newmark was saved by the public. She was joined by theatre director Belinda, who is 44, has two children and comes from Exeter, and Maysoon, a 28-year-old model from Hertfordshire.
The new arrivals follow the producers' decision to throw out two housemates because of their behaviour. Housemate Jennifer received 90% of votes in the public eviction poll.
Sara, 27, from London, is originally from Australia and works as a personal assistant. Belinda, 44, who works in the theatre, is from Exeter. Maysoon, 28, is a model and beautician from Hertfordshire. She had been up against Rex Newmark in this week's vote.
'Wake up' When the result was announced, Rex threw his arm in the air before walking away as the remaining contestants hugged Jennifer.
In the first part of the special programme, contestants fell silent as they learned that Clark, the bookmakers' favourite for eviction, had been ousted. She was then booed by the crowd as she left the house. Asked later for her reaction to the public's response, she replied: "I don't feel anything.
The 22-year-old received 89.7% of the total votes cast. Jennifer Clark said she had "always been a really big fan" of Big Brother"I wasn't expecting to come here and be loved or hated. I wasn't expecting anything."
Before Ms McCall broke the news, the housemates pretended to be asleep before the host told them to "wake up". However, she added: "It does feel hard because you think, 'What have I done?'"
Newmark, who escaped eviction, threw his arm in the air before walking off as the remaining housemates hugged Clark. She said there had been silence in the house when the eviction result was announced because "the other housemates didn't think it was going to be me. They were so convinced it was Rex".
Producers chose to remove Alexandra De-Gale and dance teacher Dennis McHugh from the house. The new contestants were introduced following the removal of housemates Alexandra De-Gale and Dennis McHugh.
McHugh was told to leave last week after spitting in fellow housemate Mohamed's face during a row. Dennis was told to leave last week after allegedly spitting in the face of fellow housemate Mohamed during a row.
De-Gale was booted off the show a week earlier after allegedly threatening housemates with punishment from "gangster friends". Alexandra was kicked off the show a week earlier after allegedly threatening other contestants with punishment from "gangster friends".
Channel 4 said last week's eviction, which saw Sylvia leave the house, was watched by 4.04m viewers, with 2.67m tuning in to see her chat with Ms McCall. Overnight figures suggest an average of 3.6m viewers watched each of the two Big Brother programmes on Channel 4 on Friday night.
