Two men found dead in a fire in south-east London died from stab wounds, detectives have revealed. The bodies of two men pulled from the remains of a flat fire in south-east London had stab wounds to the head, neck and chest, police have revealed.
Officers have launched a murder inquiry following the blaze at a ground floor flat in Sterling Gardens, New Cross, on Sunday night. The men are believed to be French exchange students in their 20s but have not been formally identified.
