A bulldozer has crashed into a commuter bus in Jerusalem, overturning the passenger vehicle and causing a number of casualties, Israeli radio reported.

Early reports suggested the incident in Jaffa Road, one of Jerusalem's main thoroughfares, was a deliberate attack although there is no confirmation.
Witnesses said the bulldozer driver went on the rampage on Jaffa Road before the crash.

The BBC's Tim Franks, who witnessed the incident, said a police officer then climbed onto the roof of the bulldozer and shot the driver dead.
