Mr McGlinchey's parish priest Father John Burns said the whole community was in mourning for the McGlinchey family.
"Less than two weeks ago they were celebrating the joys of marriage and now that joy and jubilation has turned to sorrow and grief," he said.
"I have been at the house with Eamon's parents and sister, and the shock and grief is still phenomenal as one might guess."
