Boy aged about 12 robs woman in Henley-in-Arden

The victim in her 60s was walking her dog in Henley-in-Arden when she was approached by a boy who demanded money and jewellery. She handed over jewellery by The Mount in Beaudesert Lane at about 17:00 GMT on Tuesday before the offender ran off. He is described as white, slim and 5ft 2ins tall and was wearing a dark T-shirt with a light-coloured check shirt. Det Insp Teresa McKenna, of Warwickshire Police, said: "The victim was thankfully uninjured but it was obviously a very distressing ordeal and officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be conducting reassurance patrols in the area." |
